The “Shahrashoub Vocal Ensemble” was established on Tuesday, June 30, 2015, by some music lovers from the Iranian community gathered under the direction of Maestro Honiball Joseph in Irvine, Southern California.
About Shahrashoub Vocal Ensemble
The Shahrashoub Vocal Ensemble is a vibrant and talented ensemble of volunteers who are passionate about learning and singing music. It was founded by Maestro Honiball Joseph on June 30, 2015 with the mission to nurture musical talent and present performances featuring solo and choral music in various styles, with a special focus on Iranian folkloric songs.
"Shahrashoub" carries a dual significance, a musical pattern (gousheh) from the Shour mode (dastgah) of the Iranian repertoire (radif) and a musical instrument designed by Mohammad Reza Shajarian.
Comprising enthusiastic music lovers from the Persian community in Orange County, the ensemble aspires to offer refined music to the Iranian community. Their broader mission involves cross-cultural promotion and outreach.
The Shahrashoub Vocal Ensemble warmly welcomes like-minded individuals passionate about music and eager to learn and grow. This ongoing effort demands steadfast commitment, persistent practice, patience, and endurance. It serves as a platform for musical development, inviting those who wish to contribute to its harmonious journey.
ShahrAshoub classes are held every Tuesday from 6 to 9 pm, under the supervision of Mr. Honiball Joseph in Irvine, CA. Each course consists of 10 two-hour sessions, and you can choose your favorite classes from a variety of disciplines.
More than just learning musical skills, these courses provide a vibrant and supportive environment for social, cultural, and artistic activities. By attending, you will experience companionship and connection with people from different backgrounds, as well as the joy of discovering music. You will also challenge your right and left hemispheres of the brain, creating new neural pathways that can improve brain function, focus, and memory.

Solo singing, learning vocal techniques and performance skills on stage

دوره های موسیقی «شهرآشوب» هر هفته روزهای سه شنبه از ساعت ۶- ۹ عصر، زیر نظر آقای هانیبال ژوزف در شهر ارواین برگزار می شود. هر دوره شامل ۱۰ جلسه ی دو ساعته می باشد. شما می توانید از میان رشته های گوناگون مسیر مورد علاقه ی خود را انتخاب کنید.
این دوره ها فراتر از یادگیری مهارت های موسیقایی، محیطی پر انرژی برای فعالیت های اجتماعی، فرهنگی و هنری را در اختیار شما قرار می دهد. شما با حضورتان در این دوره ها همراهی و ارتباط با افراد گوناگون را در کنار لذت کشف موسیقی تجربه می کنید. در عین حال با به چالش کشیدن نیمکره ی راست و چپ مغزتان، مسیرهای جدید عصبی در آن ایجاد کرده که موجب بهبود عملکرد مغز، تمرکز و تقویت حافظه می شود.
:کلاس های موسیقی شامل:
تک خوانی و آواز سلو، یادگیری تکنیک های آوازی و مهارت های اجرا بر روی صحنه
آواز گروهی یا کرال، با تمرکز ویژه بر موسیقی محلی ایران
تئوری موسیقی، نت خوانی و سلفژ
هزینه ی کلاس ها برای ۱۰ جلسه ی دو ساعته ۳۰۰ دلار می باشد.
